Get dirty, have fun and grow more food with great gardening tips from real-life gardeners.
I realize I missed the “gift giving season” boat… By a long shot. However, I know there are many other occasions throughout the year that might call for a gift idea for your favorite gardener. Better yet, you might need an excuse to buy yourself something nice to get you out of the winter doldrums and into planning next year’s garden.
I received beautiful tags, and frankly, can’t wait to put them out in the garden in the spring. You can reuse them as long as you write on them with a gel pen. I have seen many other wonderful versions out there that I would personally love and enjoy. Truly, you can never have too many plant tags.
I know some of you have been gardening a lot longer than I have and might have a great store of gardening tools. I still think that buying a gardener any gadget isn’t a bad idea. It never hurts to have a spare, or have the opportunity to replace an older tool with a newer version.
Even with all of the methods of composting I use, it is still nice to have something organic on hand for when you are in a pinch. Be sure to do your research and make sure it is something that will meet the recipients standards for their garden.
