I happened upon a great source for newspaper to use as garden mulch when preparing my no-dig garden beds this spring.

Our local newspaper printer offered me the ends of the paper rolls left over from the printing process. I didn’t have to worry about colored ink because there was no ink on the paper, and rolling it across the grass was a cinch! Best of all, it was free.
