Explore the global seed movement with Vanada Shiva, Jane Goodall, and other prominent advocate of seed preservation in the documentary “Seed: The Untold Story.”

The documentary SEED: The Untold Story, from filmmakers Taggart Siegel and Jon Betz, premiered at the 2016 Environmental Film Festival to a standing ovation. This film explores the global seed movement and features insight from prominent seed advocates, such as Vandana Shiva and Jane Goodall.

Seed organizations are working to spread the word about this film in hopes of alerting more people to pressing seed issues, from the loss of global seed diversity (94 percent of seed varieties have disappeared in the past century) to biotech patents and the corporate takeover of seed. The film seeks to inspire, too, by showing how you can be a part of the movement by saving seeds or even starting a community seed bank. Learn more and find film screenings at www.SeedTheMovie.com.
