Mother Earth News Fair

Our FAIRS bring living wisely to life with hands-on workshops in organic gardening, country skills, renewable energy and more.

Thanks to All the Volunteers of the 2011 Seven Springs MOTHER EARTH NEWS Fair!

Putting on the MOTHER EARTH NEWS Fair takes a lot of hard work—and we wouldn’t be anywhere without the help of all of our wonderful volunteers! For the 2011 Seven Springs Fair, more than 130 hard-working individuals donated their valuable time to help us set up, tear down and ensure that the fair ran smoothly. And best of all, they did it with big smiles and great attitudes.

To everyone who helped volunteer this year, we’d like to offer a huge “THANKS”! Your help is greatly appreciated. We couldn’t have done it without you!

 Green Team volunteer
This "Green Team" volunteer helped fair goers correctly sort their waste into the correct bins—a "dirty job," but one done with a big smile!

 stage volunteer
Some volunteers helped presentations to run smoothly (and start and end on time!) at the various stages.

 Volunteer Giving Directions
Other volunteers helped fair goers find the presentations and booths they most wanted to see!

 Nick Yorty
An extra-big thanks goes out to all the volunteers who helped clean up after the Fair. (Nick Yorty, your pallet-packin' skills were very much appreciated!)

If you’re interested in volunteering for future fairs, we’ll start sharing information about three months in advance. Volunteers receive a free ticket to the fair, a t-shirt, snacks and drinks throughout the day—as well as the appreciation of all of us at MOTHER EARTH NEWS!
