For anybody who is bothered by red bugs when you walk in the tall grass, try drinking vinegar. We always have cider vinegar, so that's what I always use. The other kinds might work, but I have never tried them. I find it's best if you drink it before going into the tall stuff, but if you forget, drink it when you get back home. It doesn't take much, just a swallow. That's about all I can get down. Do have something in your stomach before you drink it, or you will have a major case of indigestion.
