The American Livestock Breeds Conservancy (ALBC) has expanded its mission to include rabbits.

The ALBC identified 10 breeds that qualify for inclusion: American, American chinchilla, silver fox, Belgian hare, blanc de hotot, silver, beveren, giant chinchilla, lilac and Rhinelander.

The nonprofit group will include these breeds in its 2006 Conservation Priority List. To learn how you can help, go to www.albc-usa.org.
