Meet Anne-Marie Faiola of Bramble Berry and Dr. Andrew Iverson of Trilium Health.

Anne Marie FaiolaWhat are you going to speak about at the MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR?

Soapmaking – We are going to demonstrate cold process, from scratch soapmaking to your participants. We will bring examples and let people get a good feel for the process of soapmaking and how they can make their own from scratch products.

What are you most looking forward to sharing with FAIR attendees?

I’m most looking forward to sharing a sustainable method of how to make soap from scratch using all natural colorants and essential oils.

Tell us about your background with your particular topic.

I’ve been making soap for over 16 years, own www.BrambleBerry.com and blog at www.SoapQueen.com

Why should fairgoers attend your presentation?

If you’ve ever been curious about controlling the ingredients in your soap, are looking for a new hobby or have thought that soapmaking could be a good business, this is the course for you.

Dr IversonWhat are you going to speak about at the MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR?

Dr. Iverson will be presenting on the theme of his book Nature's Diet: how nature has provided us the clues on how to care for our body and heal it by observing animals on the "diet" of Nature. This will include the effect on how our health has compromised over the past 130 years by falling away from the foods provided by Nature.

What are you most looking forward to sharing with FAIR attendees?

The most important message is that your body has the ability to heal itself if it is given the right conditions. Returning back to the intended diet of Nature is the first step in this process.

Tell us about your background with your particular topic.

While attending university Dr. Iverson was introduced to a biochemist who taught him the connection between food and wellness. He was offered the rare opportunity to sit with this clinician and observe patients as they were being treated naturopathically with miraculous results. Nature's Diet is the culmination of 15 years of clinical pearls from his personal practice and 40 years of his mentor before him.

Why should fairgoers attend your presentation?

The presentation will share with attendees that food has more importance than just keeping you from becoming hungry. Food can shape how you live, how you become sick, and most importantly - how you can become well.

Thank you both. We'll see you at the FAIR!
