Photo of the Week Owl

Our Photo of the Week features a pair of dark, staring eyes. In Sheldon, Vt., this owl finds a resting spot among the cold, snowy branches. The beautiful creature sits and waits, studying the photographer.

Good work, austinmabbott. Thanks for submitting your photo this week. You can see other great nature photos in Austin’s My Gallery. (My other favorite was a dog with a little pink tongue poking out.)

Keep submitting your photos every week to the CU photo-sharing site, for a chance to be featured in one of our blogs. We had some great shots this week!

And don’t forget to fill out your profile and add captions to your photos. It’s nice to have more background on who is behind the camera and the images that are captured.
