Photo of the Week: Feeding Time GiraffeThis weeks winning photograph somehow manages to convey the gentle way in which this giraffe accepts its treat. While I haven’t fed many giraffes in my day, I have held out a handful of corn or grass for my family’s donkeys and goat. They were usually careful not to bite —  usually.

Thank you, CU photographer Rachel of Brown eyed Girl Photography, for submitting your photo this week. Check out other scenes in Rachel’s out and about gallery. Don’t stop there — be sure to browse through her other albums, filled with images from around the state of Virginia.

Keep submitting your photos every week to the CU photo-sharing site. This week, we enjoyed the many beautiful landscape shots and cute kids.

Also, take a little extra time to add captions to your photos and tell about yourself in your bio. It’s always fun to learn more about the photographer and the scenes they capture.
