A National Park Service Volunteer

Volunteering at the Johnson Settlement in the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Park.

As a National Park Service volunteer, Anita Tiff acts out the life of a pioneer girl in the late 1800's.
Spinning wool, making quilts, and explaining frontier life to park visitors are just a few of her chores.
At the Johnson Settlement, Anita portrays the frontier lifestyle of Sam Ealy Johnson, Sr. (the grandfather of Lyndon B. Johnson) and his family.
