“I’ll trade my PB & J for your gummy bears …”

You don’t have to be a middle-schooler sitting in the cafeteria to watch this bargain go down. We like to pack our lunch no matter what our age and we like to compare what we’ve brought.

That’s why, when MOTHER EARTH NEWS staff members were given a lunchopolis lunchbox by Enviro Products, they had to raffle because everyone could conceive of a use for it.This lunchbox encourages a garbage-free meal with four reusable, microwave- and dishwasher-safe containers, and a reusable water bottle that are all BPA-free.

“Lunchopolis is litter-free, which means no more sandwich bags, tinfoil, juice boxes or other unnecessary waste to throw away,” says Jennifer Johnson, account coordinator for ChristieCommunications. “Trash free lunchboxes help eliminate the 3.5 billion pounds of lunchbox garbage generated every year.”
