The doors just opened a few minutes ago here at the first
MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR of 2011, at the Fairgrounds in Puyallup, Washington.
My first stop was the booth of the Bon Ami company, one of the principal
truly all-natural household cleaning products for over 125 years, ever since a
company employee noticed that something was making workers’ shovels as shiny as
silver. Turns out it was feldspar, a mineral that had been considered to
be a waste product. They discovered that feldspar makes an excellent
ingredient to clean and polish pots and pans and for other household cleaning
needs. And, as they say, the rest is history.
Anyone looking for natural, nontoxic soaps or powder cleansers will want to
check out the products offered by this “wiser living” company.
