Robyn Griggs Lawrence thumbnailNeed a little extra incentive for your spring clean-up? The online home improvement classifieds site DiggersList is giving away free wildflower seeds to everyone who posts something for sale on the site. This “post and plant it forward” for Mother Earth started Sunday and runs through the end of April. With a presence in 34 markets across the United States, DiggersList lets contractors, property owners, suppliers and DIY enthusiasts buy, sell, trade or donate home improvement and construction materials.

If you don’t find satisfaction there, do not give up and keep whatever you need to sell or give away. Today Re-Nest posted “The A-Z Guide to Sharing, Swapping or Selling Practically Anything.” Cambria Bold said she was motivated to pull together this awesome comprehensive list because “I thought it was high time we developed a definitive list on the wheres and whats of this new age of collaborative consumption.”

Re-Nest’s list includes sites for selling or swapping baby goods and toys, bikes, books, building materials, cars, clothing, and even gardens and garden work. Share skills or a sofa (through CouchSurfing) or find out what your neighbors have to offer through Neighborrow. I’ll be visiting this list again and again—long after my current spring cleaning obsession has passed.
