When moving electric fences, I came up with a way to “tame” the wires for easy removal and restringing: Wrap the wire in a figure eight on a plastic clothes hanger. Hold the hook part in one hand and wrap (or unwrap) with the other. When finishing up, wind the end around the hook of the hanger. This system will help with rotational pasturing practices and waste less wire.
