Garlic scapes and moreLast week, we posted about the type and number of batteries to use with our 45 watt solar panel kits from Harbor Freight.  Readers suggested everything from truck batteries to forklift batteries, and experts weighed in on the pros and cons.

Meanwhile, the garden is starting to yield an abundance of goodies, including garlic scapes and strawberries.

Our helper continues to think up innovative ways to work around our troublesome driveway and to install a floor in the most problematic part of our barn.

Finally, we nadired our Warre hive and took a peek inside.  We thought we'd had a busy month, but the bees have been even busier!
