When I find a new hole or mound on my property (usually from a gopher), I dump cat feces into it.

I started this practice last year, and it seems to work. I can’t imagine I’d stay in a new neighborhood if I came home to a pile of tiger poop in my living room! (I don’t use this animal repellent technique in my vegetable garden.)
