Featherlite Trailers' official website recorded its one millionth visitor in October, according to data from Google Analytics. This is the first time the site has eclipsed the one-million-visitor mark in a calendar year.
To date in 2012, overall Featherlite website visitor traffic is running 27 percent ahead of the same period last year. Access to the site from smartphones and tablets is up over 175 percent.
“We are seeing a tremendous response from trailer customers both to the Featherlite brand and Featherlite website,” said John K. Hall, Featherlite director of marketing communications. “Among our goals is a website that has the latest information and is a pleasure for the trailer customer to use. Visitors can quickly find the products they want and get price quotes on trailers of interest.”
Featherlite manufactures aluminum trailers for hauling horses, livestock, cars, commercial products, power sports equipment and all kinds of cargo.
“Trailer buyers like to do advance research on trailer brands of interest through the Internet,” according to Nicole Ausdemore, Featherlite web specialist. “When they come to our site, they see product descriptions, product comparisons and video trailer tours highlighting benefits and innovations, as well as a lot of other important information. All of this is accessible from home computers, tablets and smartphones.”
