Butternut squash with roof building and mini sledging

A butternut squash will grow, store, and taste better than most pumpkins.

We discovered a new delicious apple variety called Zestar, but what's more exciting is the high density apple orchard method.

Learning how to cut metal roof panels the easy way with a Malco TSHD turboshear was a nice lesson to learn.

Building a better composting toilet can be fun and easy with the right information.

Anna Hess and Mark Hamilton have had the best butternut squash harvest they can remember, and will be happy to share some seeds with you at their upcoming Seed Swap. If you can't make it to the seed swap then maybe you might consider buying one of their new chicken waterers they make and sell to support the yummy homesteading lifestyle.
