Coffee-Powered Car Goes 66.5 MPH

Across the pond, engineer Martin Bacon and a team of volunteers have created a coffee-powered car that, according to the BBC (read Coffee-Powered Car in Speed Bid), set a Guinness World Record “for vehicles run on gas from organic waste” by averaging 66.5 mph. Not sure I drink that much coffee, but if I do I will put the grounds in the pelletizer and give it a run.

We’re busy getting ready for World of Speed 2012, where I hope to see these guys there.
