Jesse Savell builds passively heated and cooled houses with concrete walls and insulating panels on the outside of the walls to radically control temperature inside the house.
When insulation is applied to the outside of hte main mass of walls built under the patented Savell system of construction, the ""constant temperature line"" (which is usually several feet down in the eart) ""wicks up"" into a house and evens out the building's inside temperature during both summer and winter.
