Listerine Bug Repellent

A reader from Australia shares a bug-repellent recipe that uses Listerine.

Birch Tree Branches

Place small wooden sticks sprayed with homemade bug repellent on your outdoor table to keep pests at bay.

We mix 2 tablespoons each of Listerine and dishwashing detergent with a liter of water.

We spray this treatment on a small wooden branch and place it on the table as a bug repellent; it keeps insects away from our food.
