And don't get me started with the low volume front load washers that require low volume (in comparison)loads and then most times leaves soap residue due to lack of rinse pressure or volume of water.... and the mold buildup on the doors if not treated properly??? scandalous!~

Thattt's great...Unless you have to flush twice--- all the time. The big solution, well, there are 2 actually.. A gray water system and then actually rainwater harvesting system that can be used in the non-potable sections (and with ultraviolet and other filtration could be used house-wide for consumption and showering)... Low flow toilets are inefficient due to the lack of waste that can actually be removed. The best part of the water savings are the INCOMING devices such as showerheads and faucets. But the 'outflow" products? not enough ooomph
