Anyone install their own radiant heating system? Options

Or at least the PEX tubing. I'm still not sure which type of heat source I want for my new house, but am certain the concrete floor in the basement will have PEX tubing.

I've read several articles/tech manuals on PEX tubing and believe that even if I don't use the radiant heating right away, it still should be installed on a new construction project.

I'd like to have an open system (these supply drinking water) which would eventually be powered by an outside wood burner. I only plan to use the PEX tubing in the basement.

Any info or do's/don'ts would be appreciated.
