One of my Buff Orpingtons started setting on 5/5/04. I marked 4 eggs for her to have, since my chicken house is full and I don't need many chicks this year.

What she is doing though, is whenever she gets down to eat and drink, she returns to a nestbox with eggs, but not always the one she left with her brooding eggs!

Any suggestions on helping this hen find her way back to the home nest?

Thanks in advance!

I look forward to posting later about how incredible these chickens have been as a working part of the garden/composting efforts. I LOVE them!
