I think I've solved my problem -maybe Options

I couldn't keep the birds and squirrels from eating my tomatoes and other veggies.  So, I remembered that a friend of mine gave me 50 ft of chicken wire and I had some netting that had squares about a half inch apart in it.  WOW, did I put up a barrier to those little pests.  Around the garden the chicken wire went and the netting acted like a roof.  I only had one tomato eatten on today and that was because it was too close to the chicken wire where the bird could get it.  Hopefully we will be able to have tomatoes and veggies the rest of the summer without any bites taken out of it by birds or squirrels.

Since I am about 4'10" tall, I can walk under the netting with little problems.
