I recently re-subscribed to the magazine, which got me thinking of this place, but it appears that for whatever reason the forums have been completely gutted. When I was here before they were an active and vibrant community full of useful information, but now it looks like most of the old timers are gone and there are barely any posters at all. Oh well. That's the breaks, I guess.

I remembering all the great posts by all the wonderful cooks /chefs homesteaders from which I learned a lot. I never would have imagined a whole month without food or the kitchen in one form or another. I did make corn muffins this am.

 

Does anyone else log on anymore?
