I have heard of these before, is it for indoors or outside? Do you recall the magazine or source of the article?

fyi, the Japanese tubs are called ofuro in Japanese; here''s a link for an Alaskan company that sells them (I know, u want to build your own!): http://www.woodentubs.com/tubs_ofuro.html; also, AMAZON has a book on ofuro''s, maybe you could skim through it at a bookstore and see if it has any plans (The Japanese Bath, ISBN: 158685027X); and, I also found a weblog of a carpenter from New Zealand who talks about his experience in Japan building ofuro, so that''s probably the best source, email him and ask (info@visionari.co.nz); his name is Jim Grimmet; good luck

I am new to this forum. Awhile back I saw in an article about Japanese Soaking Baths. It told how to make one. Essentially it's a tub that you sit up in, It's tall and box like. I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find plans? I have looked on the net to no avail.
