Has anyone found a fix for the security error when running the search function on Mother's 'Legacy' disks?

I am talking of 1) Mothers First Decade, 1970-1980, 2) Mothers Second Decade, 1980-1990, 3) Mothers Third Decade, 1990-2000, 4) Mother 2000-2007.  These have 'spycd' on it, and no matter what operating system (XPsp3, 7, or 8), which browser (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome), what machine, etc, the error message shows.  We have even gone so far as to copy the disk to hd, update the 'spycd' and still get the error.

I say 'Legacy' as that is the term Mother uses in her sales pages.  I did note a multi format for 2000-2012, but I have not recieved that one yet.  I also noted another disk, 1970-2012, but was marked 'Legacy', so I passed on it.

If others are having this issue, but have not found a solution, then I can suggest a work-around, the one we are using.  The Librum has an index online, off the main site page.  Not tooting our own horn, you understand, but...

"Your security settings have blocked an application from running with an insecure or expired jre"

"Java Plug-in
Using JRE version 1.7.0_21-b11 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM"

Update to last message.

If you have a 'legacy' disk, you may no longer use the search function.  The disks and content themselves are fine.  And 'retroing' back to a older JAVA will not work, as there is residual settings active on your computer (in various places).

We did not notice the broken search issue, as we don't use the on-disk indexes.  We use our own, started on issue #43.  The broken search issue was brought to our attention by patrons here at the Librum, and by folks who used the online index.

So...  The Librum's index has been updated, through issue #255 (Dec 2012/Jan 2013, using the new 2000-2012 Multi Format disk).  A copy has been moved online and is available via web at http://www.librum.us/atoci/tmen.txt

Now, a review.  Yes, we have recieved the 2000-2012 Multi Format.  A great disk.  It does not have a search function though.

Second review.  We did note the 'complete' disk, 1970-2012, but noted it was marked as a 'legacy'.  That made us leary, and as we already have all that content, we did not get a copy.  If somebody gets that disk, please post a review here, especially if it has a search function, and if it works.
