I've modifyed old refrigerator thermistats to work over different temprature ranges.

Anouther thought would be to use a 24 volt house thermostat set to cooling and a standard contactor.

You need a Johnson Controls A19AAF-20C remote bulb style thermostat It has a range of -30-120 degrees F.You can also use a Johnson Controls A19AAF-21C with a 40-90 degree range remote bulb. Both are fixed differential but have tight tolerances.A A19AAF-4C will give you a +/- 5 degree differential @40-90 degrees F.You have a common, normally open and normally closed contact.Wire normally open.

I'm looking for a thermostat  to turn on a 110V power strip when my hot air solar collectors reach about 100 F. it would be ideal if it has some type of remote sensor that I could put the probe inside the collector and run it into the house where I could connect a power strip.  I have the fan and damper run on plugged into a power strip that wolks well I just need some way to turn the power strip on and off.

I have be trying to use a ductstat that attaches to the hot air duct but it just won't work reliably
