This is a new type of solar cooker that uses 2 troughs combined. The primary trough is lined up with the path of the sun and it sends the sunlight to the secondary trough which is more or less at right angles to it. (It can be tilted forwards either).  The secondary trough concentrates the light further onto the cooking vessel.  I have not made one of them yet. But I have tried it in modeling software and it shows that it works. I used a 30 degree compound parabolic trough as  the primary trough. It is just a parabola with one side twisted inwards round its focus by 30 degrees.  That means that for 2 hours it will focus all the light AT AND BELOW the focal line of the trough. (Then you can move your trough for more cooking).

Please check it out, and make one. It should be possible to make it as a panel cooker too.
