I am seeing a lot about DIY Solar Panels, mostly these are adds to buy material to learn to build your own for a fraction of the commercial cost. Has anyone actually had any experience with attempting to build a solar panel, not install a commercially available panel, but really create from parts a working panel? Thanks JC

You might try the Mother Earth News archives by using the search box at the top of this page. I remember a setup they had at their Eco-Village back in the 80's that even tracked the sun! I sure miss that place.
