Author, speaker and avid gardener and cook Lorene Edwards Forkner is the author of five garden titles, including the best-selling Handmade Garden Projects and the newly released Timber Press Guide to Vegetable Gardening: Pacific Northwest. She is passionate about West Coast gardens and the beautiful, fruitful and innovative landscapes of our region. Forkner is editor of Pacific Horticulture magazine, a quarterly journal and website for West Coast gardeners that explores where gardening and horticulture intersect with real life, design and the environment.
