Workshop Description

Join Kim Chisholm for an hour of chicken fun! Talk about herbs that are safe and beneficial for chickens both in and out of the coop. Then, cover the benefits and challenges of finding, keeping and feeding slugs and bugs to your chickens. Finally, we'll creative ways to obtain and offer various grains as treats or supplemental forage. You're sure to take away a tidbit that your chickens will love.

Speaker Bio

Kim Chisholm is co-owner of Wolf Camp and the Wolf College, an outdoor educational institute in Puyallup, Wash., with programs nationwide. She runs Wolf Camp and the Wolf College together with her husband, Chris. Chisholm grew up in Puyallup, and she and her husband live on Blue Skye Farm, her grandparents' old homestead, located just a mile from the Western Washington Fairgrounds. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife Science from the University of Washington.
