  Founded in 1992, the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture continues to bring farmers together to learn from each other, and to build relationships between them and consumers. 
 
  Seed Savers Exchange is a nonprofit, member-supported organization that saves and shares the heirloom seeds of our garden heritage, forming a living legacy that can be passed down through generations. 
 
  Organic Seed Alliance supports the ethical development and stewardship of seed. OSA accomplishes its mission through advocacy, advisory services, and collaborative education and research programs.

It publishes two magazines, Woodcarving Illustrated and Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts; more than 200 book titles; and distributes more than 1,000 woodworking books from other publishers around the world.
 
  The Northwest EcoBuilding Guild is a 501(c)(3) community of builders, designers, suppliers, homeowners and partners concerned with ecological building in the Pacific Northwest. The Guild was founded in 1993 by a small group of professionals already incorporating green building ideas into their practices.
 
  Animal Welfare Approved is the only food label and certification that guarantees animals were raised outdoors, with high welfare on an independent family farm. This certification, as well as grants for farmers and technical and marketing support, are offered to farmers for free, ensuring the program remains unbiased.
