Speaker Bio
Joe Alton, M.D., and Amy Alton, A.R.N.P., are a physician/nurse practitioner/midwife team that teaches medical preparedness to homesteaders and others to help them become medical resources for their families. They are the authors of The Doom and Bloom Survival Medicine Handbook, a guide for nonmedical professionals in remote settings or for disaster situations where help is NOT on the way. Advocates of holistic integrated medicine, they are contributors to Backwoods Home Magazine, among others, and speak at conferences throughout the country.
