Mad Cow Disease: Should the USDA Do More?

Current testing methods may not provide sufficient protection from mad cow disease, or bovine spongiform encephalopathy. The evidence shows humans can contract the disease when they eat infected beef. Despite this, the USDA tests only a small percentage of the animals that enter our food supply.
