Give Your Backyard Decor Some Old School Flavor

Reader Contribution by Adam Lafferty

Call me old-fashioned, but I’ve always had an affinity for all things retro. I spent a good part of my childhood watching reruns of old TV shows. I skim through the vinyl section at my local music store. I would much rather see the original movie than watch a remake (or a “re-imagining”, as Hollywood calls them now).

If you’re into old school like me, why not put some retro flavor in your sunroom or backyard décor? Check out Build Your Own Retro Patio Furniture and learn how to make your own 1960s-style adjustable wooden lawn chair and chaise lounge with a saber saw and some redwood (or cedar, if you prefer). They’re easy to build, they’re functional, and they make the perfect spot to relax while you pop in your favorite 8-track and take a trip down Memory Lane.
