Snow Pusher

Land Pride is pleased to introduce two new models of Snow Pushers. The SSP15 and SSP25 Snow Pushers are available in 3 popular sizes to fit your skid steer or tractor loader. The 15 Series is manufactured with a 30", 10 ga. moldboard and 1/4" side panels with 3 models available in 72", 84", and 96". The 25 Series is a step up with a 3/16" thick, 35" high moldboard, 5/16" side panels, and are available in 96", 10', and 12' widths. North American dealers have ranked ECHO and Shindaiwa at Gold Level Status in The North American Equipment Dealers Association’s (NAEDA) annual Manufacturer Relations Survey.

The Gold Level Award recognizes those manufacturers who have achieved exceptionally high dealer ratings in categories such as product quality, technical support, parts availability, marketing & advertising support, etc. The level is determined from the results of dealer evaluation data collected from the annual survey. The survey asks dealers to evaluate the companies whose products they sell in key areas correlated to a dealer’s operational model.

Building on the successful 2013 launch of its first All-Wheel Drive (AWD) walk mower, Husqvarna — the world’s largest producer of outdoor power equipment — announces three new additions to its AWD lineup, offering dealers and users high-quality options at a variety of price points.

The new Husqvarna AWD models are:

• The HU675AWD, powered by a 675 Kohler engine, features a heavy-duty steel 2-in-1 cutting deck, a straight over mold bail system, an auto-choke and a mulch and rear bagging system.

• The HU725AWD powered by a variable speed 725ex with Ready Start auto-choke Briggs & Stratton engine, features a heavy-duty steel 3-in-1 cutting system allowing it to bag, mulch and side discharge.

• The HU725AWD/BBC features SingleStartTM which adds a blade brake clutch (BBC) feature to the HU725AWD model allowing the user to stop the blade to pick up debris or empty the bag, and a simple lever engagement turns the blade back on without needing to restart the mower.

Husqvarna AWD Walk Mower

The full line up of Husqvarna AWD walk mowers will be available beginning spring 2014.

Like the original HU800AWD model, each new Husqvarna AWD walk mower is designed to provide users with balance and power to all four wheels in hilly, uneven terrain and tough mowing conditions.* Each features a unique drive system and dual transmission, premium wheels with aggressive tread patterns to provide additional traction and maneuverability, a premium quick pin 4-point adjustment for level cutting height and a water hose connector for easy cleaning of the deck.

Exmark has published a new propane mower white paper designed to help landscape maintenance professionals understand the considerations related to a move from gasoline to propane as a mower fuel, and make decisions that will offer the best potential for long-term cost savings.

Exmark Director of Marketing, Daryn Walters, said the Transitioning Mower Fleets to Propane white paper offers background on propane-fueled equipment, explores trends and economic factors in the marketplace and details options that exist for landscape maintenance professionals making a switch to propane.

Beeswax pillar candle

Worker B adds to their growing collection of honeybee inspired products with new hexagonal pillar candles.  These candles are hand-poured using sustainably sourced 100% pure beeswax with all-cotton wicks.  A three-person company centered in Minneapolis, MN, Worker B found their start with local beekeepers and community-based farming.

"Beeswax candles have long been admired for their clean bright flame, soft honey aroma, and exceptional burn time," said Michael Sedlacek, co-owner and founding member of Worker B.   "We partner directly with chemical free beekeepers to find the cleanest beeswax and raw honey on the market.” 

Honeybees generate wax scales from four pairs of abdominal glands. Collectively, worker bees produce 500,000 wax scales, consume eight pounds of honey, and fly 150,000 miles to create one pound of beeswax.  The Worker B candles contain twenty ounces of beeswax, with a burn time of over 70 hours.  A letterpress printed and laser cut paper sleeve completes the package.
