Julia grew up on a grain and livestock farm in south central  Illinois. After living in the city limits of Charleston for twenty six years, she completed her education, established a career, and moved on to just over five acres in the country. Five Feline Farm provides a space for beekeeping, gardening, cooking and writing. Julia shares this hobby farm with the resident felines and their co-guardian.

Current Projects: Learning more about beekeeping and marketing honey as a business venture. Julia also enjoys finding ways to turn re-purposed objects into useful items.

Other Fun Facts:  Julia enjoys cooking and baking as a form of stress relief.
