Besides the workshops and events, you might be interested in these other offerings from the Solar Living Institute:
- Internship Program. Interns could be considered the backbone of the Institute as they participate in all aspects of its operation. Internships last 3 to 6 months; in exchange, you can expect an amazing firsthand education in sustainability, plus some fresh food grown on the premises and accommodation in the Intern Village (read: rustic). Not convinced? Check out intern testimonials here. Convinced? Apply here.
- Tours. If you don’t have time for a full-blown workshop or festival, you can still learn a ton just by walking around the amazing grounds with a tour guide (read: hard-working intern) who will show you firsthand examples of off-grid living, permaculture gardening, natural building and more.
- Good Stuff. Shop for green goods, books and more at the Institute’s store.
