    This takes only a few minutes. If you have a forced air system, and especially if you have floor registers, get out the duct tape. Lift the register grates out and tape the inside of the duct and lap over onto your floor enough that the grate will cover the tape. Most ducts are "toe nailed" with one or two nails when installed. There's a big air gap all around the duct. Cold loves to penetrate warm space.

    Also, take a look at the plumbing under sinks. It passes through the wall. Pull back the beauty ring from the wall and you'll probably see a hole bigger than the pipe (drain or supply lines) that you can seal with your duct tape. It's also a good idea to stuff a little steel wool or old plastic dishwashing scrubbers in the hole to keep bugs out before you apply the tape. Stay warm.
