Grow your green business at the Mother Earth News Fair
Workshops show how to start and promote an eco-based business, plus find a green job
TOPEKA, Kan. (Aug. 30, 2010) — Have you thought about harnessing your entrepreneurial spirit to start your own business? Or, has the changing economy piqued your interest in green jobs?
At the Mother Earth News Fair, slated for Sept. 25-26 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort near Pittsburgh, eco-entrepreneurs can learn more about everything from using social media to promote goods to getting products sold in big-box retailers.
Scheduled green business speakers and topics include:

- Dr. Kevin Danaher – green careers are the future; green jobs panel
- Alisa Gravitz – green jobs panel
- John Ivanko and Lisa Kivirist – ecopreneuring; experts’ panel

The Mother Earth News Fair will offer more than 200 sessions on green business, homesteading, small-scale livestock, real food, DIY projects, organic gardening, green transportation, DIY projects, green building and remodeling, renewable energy, and related topics.
Attendees also can take part in a green shopping pavilion; vendor, livestock and craft demonstrations; artisan food tastings; local and organic food offerings; live music; a seed swap; and children’s projects.
