A Stand-up Seed Planter

Several years ago I had back surgery, making it difficult for me to bend over in my garden for long periods of time. Couple the surgery with the fact that I am a senior citizen, and planting time became quite a chore. Then I started planting large seeds, such as beans, corn and squash, by dropping the seeds through a 31⁄2 footlength of three-quarter-inch plastic pipe. It’s very easy to direct the seeds to the exact spot that I want them, without the pain of bending over.
