Deodorize trash cans. Sprinkle 1/4 cup baking soda in the bottom of trash can and leave it until it's time to clean. It stays in the bottom and keeps the trash can smelling fresh and any spills won't stick to the bottom--also doesn't stick to bag to make a mess changing bags. When it's time to clean the trash can, just add 1/4 cup vinegar or water, scrub down the sides and outside, and rinse, dry and reapply baking soda.

Clean tubs/sinks. For heavy soiling, dampen with vinegar then sprinkle with baking soda, scrub, and rinse. Cleans as well as harsh cleansers and if you miss some while rinsing, it will only soften your water and skin, unlike harsh cleansers.

Remove stains on inside of dishwasher (plastic). Make a paste with baking soda and water or vinegar and scrub.
