On Etsy, you can buy or sell art, jewelry, clothes, cards, food, toys, candles, soap, furniture and more. Items for sale on Etsy must be goods that are handmade by the seller, supplies for handmade crafts, or vintage items 20 years or older. It costs 20 cents to list an item for up to four months, and Etsy takes a 3.5 percent cut when the item sells.

The site is easy for shoppers to navigate and even offers helpful gift guides for holiday shopping, including one that features eco-friendly items.
