INTENTIONAL COMMUNITIES, SOME INSIDE VIEWS
(Page 8 of 8)
January/February 1985
By the Mother Earth News editors
The people who have stayed on for years are a very close-knit group. Like one big, evergrowing family, we have our trials and difficulties. Certainly, in a commune nobody can hide his or her faults. But as we struggle with our own imperfections, we gain more understanding of each other. Generally, despite the lack of money, we're a very useful, happy, colorful, capable, and talented community. I've never regretted making my own commitment to stay 7-1/2 years ago.
