EDITOR'S NOTE: The Meta Tantay community—which is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the preservation and reviral of traditional native American lifestyles and culture—is open to visitors who first write to request permission. However, no drug or alcohol use—or possession of firearms—is allowed within the camp. Several residents of Meta Tantay will be conducting workshops this summer in native skills and crafts, and those folks now running community projects (such as grant writing or setting up a. commercial goat dairy) are always in need of helpers. If you'd like to have more information on these activities, make a donation to the work, or be placed on the mailing list for the group's newsletter, write to Rolling Thunder, Dept. TMEN, P.O. Box 707, Carlin, Nevada 8981 (and be sure to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope, plus a dollar or two for their efforts).
In addition, a copy of Rolling Thunder's biography by Doug Boyd (Dell Publishing Co., 1974) can be ordered from the same address for $3.95 plus $1.00 shipping and handling.
