Speaking of making decisions, self-sufficiency freaks in this country would do well to take advantage of the little booklet too. APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY SOURCEBOOK maybe directed at Third World nations, but the access it furnishes to simple, low-cost living techniques makes it universally usable. Until April 1, 1976, folks living in the United States, Europe, or Japan can buy a copy for a mere $1.50 ($2.50 airmail) or you can wait until after that date, when the second edition of the SOUR CEBOOK revised and expanded will be released, for just $3.50. And if you're wondering how, in Heaven's name poor folks in underdeveloped areas can cough up that kind of cash, you'll be glad to know that they don't have to domestic sales of the book go toward supporting its for free (or below cost) distribution elsewhere. So c'mon, folks: Order, up a copy of the APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY SOURCE BOOK (available from Volunteers in Asia, Appropriate Technology Project, Box 4543, Stanford, Calif. 94305) and do both yourself and the nest of the world a favor! TK.
