My doctor provided this tip for preventing poison ivy. We all know to wash after working outside, but I assumed using regular hand soap was fine. But instead, use dish soap to remove all of the poison ivy, as dish soap is made to remove grease and oils, which includes poison ivy oil. Have had bad poison ivy for 3 weeks. Tried shot, prednisone, every topical on the market. finally purchased walgreesn poison ivy wash and with in 1 hour i feel 100% better. May sleep for the first time in weeks. I can not believe how much relief I have from this product.
