So, please be forewarned. And do your income planning carefully and with an eye to an uncertain economic future in America and the world. But for heaven's sake don't let this warning discourage you. I can't think of anyone better prepared to cope with an uncertain future than a well dug in homesteader. Oil prices may soar or petroleum get scarce or run out so we either can't afford or can't get the gas to cook our eggs or the electricity to make freezing beans so quit and easy. But we'll always have the eggs. And the beans.
